OBJEKTREFERENZEN VON ALWITRA

The site features a steep 27-meter slope, equal to a nine-story building. Inspired by informal settlements, OMA designs a chequerboard layout of blocks and courtyards. The terrain allows each building to overlook the next, offering varied views. Despite high density, 70% of the area is kept open for public plazas and green spaces.

AbA Residence is a residential complex comprising a hybrid of semi-detached and terraced villas near Tirana. Organized on seven terraced levels responding to the sloped site, each villa features dual-level access, flexible living areas, two bedrooms, and rooftop terraces with panoramic views, blending nature with modern design.

The architectural design is in harmony with the natural environment, a product of sensitivity to the natural surroundings and the presence of the tourist village. The proposal is designed to respect the nature and existing buildings of the village, with the design of the project serving as an organic extension of both.

The MARGA 2 project integrates sustainability through energy-efficient ventilated façades and recyclable materials. Its modular, minimalist design ensures material sufficiency, while cradle-to-cradle principles enable easy disassembly and reuse, promoting a durable, eco-friendly urban housing solution.

Magnet is one such space — a place that speaks to the future of Tirana, and to the power of architecture to transform not just cities, but lives.

The architectural aesthetic is designed by FRPO & Selgascano Architectural Studio in harmony with nature, emerging as a product of sensitivity towards the natural environment. The proposal respects both nature and the existing structures in the area, with the project design serving as an organic extension of both.

Architecture is more than building; it is a reflection of culture, emotion, and intention. In designing OxA Residence, our approach was guided by a deep commitment to human-centered living, environmental sensitivity, and the creation of meaningful connections—between people, between spaces, and with nature.

Der Neubau der Kultur- und Sporthalle leistet einen Beitrag zur Nachhaltigkeit durch seine innovative Holzkonstruktion und den Einsatz von Geothermie. Die für alle Bürger nutzbare Kulturhalle, insbesondere das öffentlich zugängliche Dach, trägt wesentlich zur Entwicklung eines neuen Ortskerns in Alfter bei.

Die neue Kultur- und Sporthalle in Alfter von Königs Architekten überzeugt durch ihr aktiviertes Dach. Das öffentlich zugängliche Dach schafft einen attraktiven, urbanen Freiraum über der Halle und dient als kompensierter Treffpunkt für Jugendliche – unabhängig von der Hallennutzung im Inneren.

Wir haben ein Konzept entwickelt, diesen Gebäudetypus nachzuverdichten, die Grundrisse flexibel für Wohnen oder Gewerbe zu gestalten, Barrierefreiheit herzustellen und nachhaltig für die Zukunft zu konzipieren. Das Gebäude wurde durch einen Anbau und eine Aufstockung so ertüchtigt, dass die zukünftige Nutzfläche auf das dreifache erweiterbar wäre.
